Challenge
MCE approached Vnzo AEC to capture a few recent projects. We challenged them to go deeper – to tell a bigger story about their impact on the Minneapolis community.
Outcome
We transformed four standout projects into a cohesive brand impact video – complete with partner interviews, community voices, and powerful visuals that position MCE as more than engineers.
Rethinking the ask
When MCE came to us looking for standard project videos, we saw an opportunity to elevate the story. Instead of highlighting buildings alone, we proposed a campaign that showed the firm’s broader impact on the people, places, and communities behind the projects.

Capturing meaningful work
We identified four flagship projects that demonstrated MCE’s range and reach:
- MSP Terminal 1, a vital hub for regional travel
- Maslon LLP, a high-end office buildout in downtown Minneapolis
- 825 Arts, a historic renovation turned vibrant arts hub
- Sumner Library, a community cornerstone brought into the future
We filmed cinematic footage across each site and captured interviews with project partners and clients, creating a rich visual library that could be used across platforms.

Debuting the story in a big way
The final deliverable was more than a project reel—it was a full-scale brand impact video, blending storytelling, stakeholder perspectives, and powerful imagery to reflect what MCE stands for.
To celebrate the launch, the video premiered in front of the entire MCE team at the Target Center, delivering an emotional, high-energy moment of pride and recognition. Vnzo captured the event and also provided updated team headshots—giving MCE a fresh suite of content across brand, marketing, and culture.
